Did you know our Senior Advisor Alec Cooley is a multi-published & accredited expert in recycling? From driving a forklift at a recycling center when he was in school to working as a recycling director for Keep America Beautiful and serving on the board of directors of multiple state and national recycling NGO’s, Alec is an invaluable member of our team. And he’s not done yet – in addition to organizing and moderating our North-American-recognized public-access Green Thinking educational programming, he has co-written a number of articles for Resource Recycling, participated in many case studies, and recently contributed to two pieces in Green Building & Design (gb&d) Magazine on behalf of Busch Systems.
Here’s a little about gb&d magazine in their own words:
“Founded in 2009 by publisher Chris Howe, gb&d (Green Building & Design) connects and inspires green building professionals by partnering with those at the forefront of sustainable design, development, planning, and policy.
As a trusted source for the world’s top architects, builders, and developers, gb&d showcases projects, products, and trends with sustainability and social responsibility as their top priority.”
