The people in charge of sustainability at Stanford University have brought out the big guns (or should we say a big dancing tree) and raised the bar for the RecycleMania Competition by creating this awesome vid to promote their campus sustainability program.
Complete with backup dancers, catchy lyrics (“we put all the right junk in all the right waste bins”), and a tree with more energy and dance moves than you could shake a stick at (sorry, had to), Stanford University is really pulling out all the stops to take the top spot in the RecycleMania competition.
Stanford isn’t shy to challenge other Colleges in their “All about that Bass” parody either – “…we’re better than Berkeley and Harvard at conservation” – our fingers are crossed that Berkeley and Harvard accept the challenge and create recycling based parodies of infectious pop songs of their own!
