It’s easy to recycle with Suffolk University’s single stream recycling program. The simple collection process and properly labeled recycling containers help to reduce contamination and increase participation.
Grad Student Kathleen Takes Advantage of the Campus Recycling Program
The program has grown in the past five years from a recycling rate of about 5% to 40%. Not only does waste diversion reduce Suffolk’s environmental impact, it also saves money.
We have enjoyed using recycling containers from Busch Systems, such as the Waste Watchers, single stream lids, and single stream labels, along with custom recycling carts with specific openings. We are currently in the process of upgrading our program and adding the Waste Watcher sign frame which only helps to complete the look of the station and add further clarification.
