Meet Ika.
Ika S. is a mother and Plastic Bank member in Kuta, Indonesia.

She began collecting plastic waste to help clean up her community, and in 2019 joined Plastic Bank to turn her plastic collection into meaningful employment. Thanks to Plastic Bank, Ika is helping to support her family and the surrounding nature. She even teaches her children about the negative impact of plastic pollution, so they will one day create impact for the environment, their communities and the world!

As pictured below, Ika is able to purchase groceries at a convenience store by redeeming a free voucher as a member of Plastic Bank in Bali, Indonesia.Â
