Barrie, Ontario, September 14th, 2023 – International Recycling and Waste container brand Busch Systems launches partnership with innovative sustainable technology company CarbonGraph to measure carbon footprint of products.
At Busch Systems, our goal is to lead through innovation so we can equip others with the tools and resources that will make a positive impact on our environment. We are proud to have partnered with CarbonGraph to map out the carbon footprints of our products – from cradle to grave.
CarbonGraph’s mission is to provide people, companies and governments with the environmental context needed to make informed decisions about the sustainability of the goods and services they buy and sell. A product’s carbon footprint measures the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions through its lifecycle – from raw material extraction and production to its final use by consumers.
The process of mapping the carbon footprint of Busch Systems products started in November 2022 and we are now excited to launch our product footprints and share the results of our efforts. In addition to mapping the carbon footprint of Busch Systems’ products, the Busch Systems team has been working hand-in-hand with the CarbonGraph team to develop their software and be an example of the steps other companies can take in measuring their environmental impact through data and technology. We are proud to be continuing our relationship with CarbonGraph and their efforts to help other businesses in their sustainability journey.
